Subject: Cancellation and Rescheduling of Examinations for B.Tech. Students
Refer to the email dated October 28, 2025 (5:03 PM) received from the Coordinator, B.Tech. Programme.
Keeping in view the shortage of time to cover the syllabus and the requests received from various institutes, the Dean, USICT has permitted to waive off the 2nd Mid-Term Examination for B.Tech. (1st, 3rd , and 5th Semester) students, which were scheduled to be held from November 10, 2025.
Accordingly, the 2nd Mid-Term Examinations for the above semesters stand cancelled, and regular classes will be conducted during that period.
It is also informed that the Supplementary Examinations against the 1st Mid-Term Exams for B.Tech (1st, 3rd, and 5th Semester) students, which were earlier scheduled from October 29 to October 31, 2025, stand cancelled and will now be held along with 7th semester students from November 10, 2025 onwards. The revised date-sheet for the same will be displayed shortly.
The Supplementary Mid-Term Examinations for all B.Tech. odd semesters will be conducted centrally in all affiliated institutes w.e.f. November 10, 2025.
Note: The above-mentioned adjustments are applicable for this semester only.

REGISTRATION CHART FOR END-TERM EXAMINATIONS NOV/DEC-2025
Registration Charts (RC) for all the students of B.Tech./MBA/BBA (1st, 3rd, 5th and 7th semester) appearing in regular and reappear subjects during End-Term Practical and Theory Examinations to be held in NOV/DEC-2025 will only be available till OCTOBER 24, 2025 (1:00 pm).
The following steps are to be followed for signing of the registration chart by the students.
- Regular student who has no back paper/s in any of the odd Semester is not required to do anything, the institute/department will take care of the same.
- Passed out /Reappear/Year Back/Student having back paper/s in any of the odd Semester has to pay a reappear fees @ Rs. 1200/- per paper for a student per Semester.
The reappear fees only be paid through online mode using the following process/steps: Open the Institute website (https://mait.ac.in) ----> Click Reappear Fees Fill your details and pay the complete Reappear fees as mentioned against your name.

Reappear fee if paid in partial will not be accepted at all.
Such students may kindly verify the amount to be paid as reappear fees from the Reappear details uploaded on the MAIT website. After submitting the required reappear fees, the student concerned will send the proof of the payment made to their respective Coordinator/Group Counselor through WhatsApp or e-mail then only the Coordinator/Group counselor will confirm/approve his or her candidature. After completion of the reappear data file provided through google sheet, the respective Departmental RC Coordinator will submit the same to their respective Head of the department.
All the HODs are requested to cross verify the Reappear data file complete in all respect such as submission of reappear fees, remarks against non-submission of reappear fees etc, latest by October 24 (4:00 pm)), 2025.
