Teacher Training Policy

  1. New faculty members are trained in preparing systematic lesson plans and effective classroom interaction for developing competence in communication skills relevant to technical problems.
  2. Institute facilitates and promotes faculty training programs to prepare faculty members for being successful and effective in a knowledge society.
  3. Institute inspires faculties to do research and provides financial assistance for various academic activities:
    1. Attending Faculty Development Programs
    2. Faculty are encouraged to write Research Papers and attend Seminars and Conferences
    3. 50% of the Registration amount is provided by the Institute to faculty members for attending Seminars and Conferences and Paper Presentation. 
  1. Faculty members are encouraged to conduct lectures using PowerPoint Presentation to make learning more effective and interactive. The faculty member who has conducted maximum such lectures is awarded with a certificate and cash prize as a token of appreciation.
  2. Research & Development Lab has been established in the Institute and is available to faculties  and students.
  3. E-Journals are available in the Institute library for access by faculties and students.
  4. Two increments are given to faculties after Ph.D. completion and a Certificate of Appreciation on Teachers' Day.
  5. A faculty member is awarded with a Certificate of Appreciation and a cash prize of Rs 5000/- as a token of appreciation for writing a book on any technical subject.
  6. An award of Rs. 3,000 and a certificate of appreciation is given to a faculty member for outstanding performance in the respective field
  7. To encourage and promote learning, Institute provides OD (On Duty Leave) for attending and participating in seminars/workshops/conferences and for Ph.D. related activities to those pursuing Ph.D.
  8. The Institute provides laptops to faculties at subsidized rates.
