IPR Cell Intellectual Property (IP) refers to various distinct types of creations of the mind : inventions, literary and artistic works, and symbols, names, images, and designs used in commerce; for which a set of exclusive rights like copyrights, trademarks, patents, industrial design rights and trade secrets are recognized under the corresponding fields of law. “Intellectual property is a part of our life. No matter what we do and where we are, we are always surrounded by the human creativity and inventions which make our life easier”. Mission: To create awareness and provide guidance to academic, nonacademic staff and students on the practices and the rules of institute regarding Intellectual Property Rights and obligations within the frame work of the IPR policy of the institute. Objectives: To create an environment for acquiring new knowledge through innovation. To create an opportunity for Product development and Commercialization. To provides assistance to the inventors in obtaining and enforcing IPRs in the form of patents, copyrights, trademarks, industrial designs, etc. Compensate the Inventors with due reward for encouraging inventions.
