Applied Science Department witnessed the successful completion of FDP on “Recent Advancement in Applied Science“ from   May 6 to May 11, 2019. The FDP focused on the basic and the core ideas for research in the field of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and humanities. The FDP gave the opportunity to the academicians to enhance their skills and understand their core areas more efficiently.  Various eminent speakers from different institutions like DTU, DU and DRDO shared  their ideas and work for the growth of faculty.  The broad topics discussed were ; Importance of Characterization of material,  Solid Waste Management, Advance numerical methods, Communication language, Paralanguage and phonetics etc.  FDP also included the visit to SSPL laboratory under Defence  Research and Development organization (DRDO), Ministry of Defence.  Practical session on “Designing of Google Sheets using MS Office” was also organized for one day by in-house subject experts.
