Procedure for Verification of UG/PG Degrees, Certificates, and Other Documents

To obtain verification of undergraduate (UG) or postgraduate (PG) degrees, certificates, marksheets, and other academic documents, applicants are required to follow the procedure:

1. Submit the Verification Request

Visit the Student Verification Portal and fill in the application form:

Verification Portal: https://portal.mait.ac.in/bgv/

The application must include the following information:

A. Company/Agency Details

  • Name of the company/agency
  • Contact person's details
  • Reference/ Check ID details
  • Email address (the verification result will be sent to this email address)

B. Candidate Details

  • Student's name
  • Degree/programme
  • Branch/specialisation
  • Year of admission
  • Year of passing
  • Enrolment number/University Roll Number
  • Marks/ Percentage/CGPA/ Division claimed

C. Documents/Information to Be Verified

  • Degree certificate
  • Marksheets
  • Provisional certificate
  • Any other relevant document or academic information requiring verification

D. Supporting Documents

Upload copies of the documents to be verified, subject to the following conditions:

  • Maximum number of files: 5
  • Maximum file size: 2 MB per file

2. Verification Fee and Payment

The verification fee is ₹1,770 per request/candidate, inclusive of GST, as detailed below:

  • Verification Fee: ₹1,500
  • GST (18%): ₹270
  • Total Amount Payable: ₹1,770

After completing the application form, the applicant must:

  1. Tick the checkbox confirming the following declaration:

"I confirm that we hold the candidate's written authorisation to verify these details, and that the information above is accurate."

  1. Click on "Proceed to Payment" to complete the payment process.
  1. Upon successful payment, the applicant will receive a payment receipt. Please retain the receipt for future reference.

Note: The verification request will be processed based on the details and documents submitted by the applicant. The verification result will be communicated to the email address provided in the application form.
