The subject 'Communication Skills' aims at developing and improving not only the speaking, writing, listening and reading abilities of the student but also the behavioral skills. They are taught how to face a Group Discussion - the rules to be followed during the G.D., how to prepare for an interview, how to face the interview committee and how to give a presentation etc. The teaching of all these skills involves the knowledge of not only of English language but also of Body language, which is a very important aspect of oral communication. The purpose of the subject is the complete personality development of the students.
